Life Changes

Tansi

I remember standing on a stage, sharing the story of why I wanted to sell T-shirts. It all started back when I was in college. I had this crazy idea to sell T-shirts to my professors. At the time, my background was in education, and I was on the path to becoming a teacher. But life had other plans for me. As it turned out, I never stepped into a classroom as a teacher because my business took off in ways I had never imagined.

I started with a small operation, but soon enough, I had retail stores, an online presence, and wholesale customers. The orders kept pouring in, and I found myself doing custom designs for corporations. It was exhilarating and overwhelming all at once. I was so caught up in the day-to-day operations that I didn’t have time to reflect on why my business was thriving. Why did people keep coming back to me?

I didn’t have an answer

I didn’t have an answer, because my head was constantly down, focused on getting things done. It wasn’t until much later, in quieter moments, that I had flashbacks to those early days on stages like this one. It hit me that the passion I poured into my work, the personal touch I added to each design, and the genuine connections I built with my customers were the reasons for my success. It wasn’t just about selling T-shirts; it was about creating something meaningful, something that resonated with people on a deeper level.

So here I am again, sharing my journey with you. It’s a reminder of where I started and how far I’ve come. And it’s a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. If you’re willing to pour your heart into what you do, the rest will follow.
