It fills me with gratitude share the timeless wisdom that has shaped my life. As I embark on this journey of storytelling, I carry with me the teachings passed down from generations before me. Growing up in Sweetgrass First Nation near North Battleford, Saskatchewan, storytelling wasn’t just a tradition; it was the cornerstone of our education.

From a young age, I was immersed in a world where elders spoke, and we listened, seated on the floor, captivated by their words. Each story was not merely entertainment but a vessel of knowledge, carrying profound lessons that would shape our character and guide us through life’s journey. The power of storytelling lies not only in the narratives themselves but in the transformative impact they have on our minds and souls.
